INTERVENTION AREA
The actions of the LIFE Imperial Project take place in 4 Special Protection Areas (SPAs of Natura 2000 Network) which are priority for the conservation of the Iberian Imperial Eagle in Portugal: Tejo Internacional, Erges e Pônsul, Mourão/Moura/Barrancos, Castro Verde and Vale do Guadiana. Some actions, such as the census of the species and population monitoring, also take place in other areas of the country.
