The theatre play inspired in the children's book of LIFE Imperial Project "The Adventures of Aquiles and Albertina" was presented to the educative community of Almodôvar.
"The Great Flight of the Imperial Eagles" was the title chosen by Muzumbos, a children's theater company, who dramatized the children's book "The Adventures of Aquiles and Albertina." This book, produced under the LIFE Imperial Project, authored by Liliana Barosa and illustrations by Paulo Alves, explains to the younger ones what are the challenges and adventures that a couple of imperial eagles face in Portugal to survive.
Muzumbos adapted the story with a dramatization full of color, light, music and a lot of animation. The grand premiere of this magnificent play took place last May 15th, in Almodôvar, for 450 spectators, all the students of the pre-school and primary school, together with their teachers and assistants who have participated in the actions of environmental education of the LIFE Imperial over the last 4 years.
This event was organized by LPN in partnership with the Almodôvar Schools Association and was supported by the Almodôvar City Council and the Almodôvar Volunteer Firefighters, to whom the LIFE Imperial team thanks the collaboration.
